In 2018, LOVEBITES made a significant impact with their first festival appearance at Vans Warped Tour Japan 2018 Presented by XFLAG. Additionally, they headlined a show in June for their mini-album "BATTLE AGAINST DAMNATION." In July, the band participated in HEADSTRONG FES.18 organized by ANTHEM, followed by performances at prestigious metal festivals like Wacken Open Air in Germany and Bloodstock Open Air in the UK. They also embarked on a European tour with X-ray Touring. After returning to Japan, LOVEBITES successfully completed their second album, "CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY," by the end of the year. They capped off the year with a performance at Metal Mania by RED BULL, sharing the stage with LOUDNESS.
The year 2019 started with LOVEBITES touring Japan, followed by a supporting role for Arch Enemy during their tour in China. In July, they released their first live album, "DAUGHTERS OF THE DAWN: LIVE IN TOKYO 2019," recorded at MYNABI BLITZ AKASAKA in Tokyo in support of "CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY." The band continued to tour festivals in the UK, Belgium, and Spain, including appearances at Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting. Notably, Asami joined HALESTORM on stage at Download Festival in the UK to perform "Love Bites (And So Do I)," the song that inspired LOVEBITES' name. Following their return to Japan, they toured Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka before appearing at SUMMER SONIC 2019. Later in the year, they joined DragonForce as special guests for their UK tour in November.
In January 2020, LOVEBITES released their third album, "ELECTRIC PENTAGRAM," marking their first entry into Japan's Oricon Top 10 rankings, peaking at number nine. The band then commenced a tour of Japan in February and released "FIVE OF A KIND: LIVE IN TOKYO 2020" in July, recorded at Zepp DiverCity, which topped the Oricon Music Blu-ray chart.
March 2021 saw the release of the mini-album "GLORY, GLORY, TO THE WORLD," reaching number ten on the billboard general chart. Following this, LOVEBITES initiated the RIDE FOR VENGEANCE TOUR 2021, touring four cities across Japan. In August of the same year, Miho left the band, leading to an announced break for LOVEBITES. During this period, "HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES – LIVE IN TOKYO 2021" was released in the UK as a CD and video-on-demand release, featuring the Tokyo show from the RIDE FOR VENGEANCE TOUR 2021. The band returned with the release of the best album "IN THE BEGINNING: THE BEST OF 2017-2021."
In April 2022, LOVEBITES held a worldwide audition, welcoming participants of all nationalities, ages, and genders to find a new bassist. After an extensive selection process, fami joined the band in October of the same year, restoring LOVEBITES to a five-member lineup.
