Change is a US/Canadian Straight Edge band hailing from the Pacific Northwest and featuring former and current members of Betrayed, The First Step, Odd Man Out, Angel Du$t, Lower Species, and Punitive Damage. Comprising Aram Arslanian, Chris Williams, Jeff Caffey, Mike Jurek, and Matt Bertell, the band's brand of urgent hardcore is influenced by the likes of Youth of Today, Uniform Choice, INSTED, Sportswear, BOLD, Turning Point, Straight Ahead, Verbal Assault, and Embrace. However, their songwriting draws inspiration from various genres, preventing the band from pigeonholing themselves musically. Lyrically, their songs focus on growth, both personal and social, encouraging the embrace of one's identity while striving to become the best version of oneself.
