When Didier is not on the roads of France with WAMPAS, he skimmed the concert halls with SUGAR & TIGER. The band, which was intended to be short-lived, has been in existence since April 2011 and has released three albums: TELÉVISAGE in 2014, THIXOTROPIC in 2016 and HESPÉRIE in 2019.
After 115 concerts (detail in the section “Musical Interests”), including two tours in Southeast Asia, it is far from the time of the very first demo, the one where there were only two, Sugar (Florence) and Tiger (Didier Wampas) and they thought to do only one song: the jumping “Henri.” Since then, the duo has been surrounded by Arnold and Diego, Didier’s sons on guitar and drums, and Jean-Mi des Wampas on bass.
On stage, the family business delivers a direct, raw and above all sincere set with a crazy energy. They seem to be asking us not to take them seriously, but too late! Sugar & Tiger already has its fans and plenty of live shows to come.
