![]() Anonymus released its first album in October 1994. Ni Vu, Ni Connu indicates great technical mastery and undeniable sound quality. Writing is committed and intelligent, and brings a wave of freshness to the metal scene of the province. In 1996, the quartet received the MiMi for best metal/rock band. The release of their second effort, Stress , marks the band’s signature on the MPV Records label. Building on its previous recordings, Anonymus offers several sold-out Spectrum, and toured with big names such as Biohazard and Anthrax. He also enjoyed international success following a tour of Mexico and the Milwaukee Metal Fest. Without any complex, the band entrusted Colin Richardson with the production of the album Instinct . This magna of metal production (Machine Head, Fear Factory, Carcass, Napalm Death) multiplies the potential of Anonymus. Instinct exalts the classic ranges by feeding on hardcore inserts, including opera. The group continues its conquest of the globe with a tour in France, alongside Watcha and Out. In 2002, Anonymus launched the incredible Daemonium , thanks to which he returned to the “do it yourself” spirit. The quartet then took to the stage all over the country and saw its album consecrated the best metal record of the year by many radio stations. Then comes the album L’Académie du Massacre , which combines the efforts of Anonymus and the energetic Mononc' Serge. The CD found no less than 15,000 subscribers and the duo toured for 18 months, to the delight of the fans. A recently released live DVD has already sold more than 2000 copies. Still as motivated as at the beginning, it is with pride that Anonymus presents Chapter Chaos Begins . Directed by Jean-François Dagenais (Kataklysm, Misery Index) and “mastered” by Peter In de Betou (Messhuggah, Dimmu Borgir), the album includes the best Anonymus material to date. The single Suffer the consequences , for which a video-clip was also filmed, represents the energy and intensity that can be found on each piece of this musical gem. Having recently joined the Galy Records label, Oscar Souto (vocals, bass), Daniel Souto (guitar, vocals) and Carlos Araya (drums) are ready to conquer the international music scene. |
