Hope You Die By Overdose
This Belgian brutal hardcore band is simply recognized as one of the greatest ambassadors of the European hxc scene.
He was formed in 1997 around Baldur (vocals), Numa (guitar), Vince (bass), and David (drums).
The line-up of the band stabilized a few years later with the arrival of Kirby in Arkangel, also guitarist in Length Of Time and Deviate.
Arkangel released his first MCD in 1998: it is composed of 6 tracks and is entitled Prayer Upon Deaf Ears.
Their only album Dead Man Walking was released the following year, and is unquestionably one of the best hardcore albums on the market today...
After having toured all over Europe and thus acquired a certain notoriety, Arkangel then went on the assault of the States and even entered into his list of winners a participation in the 2001 edition of the legendary Hellfest festival.
It is clear that the reputation of this band is no longer to be done!!!
Its name alone inspires respect because Arkangel played a key role in the emergence of metal-hardcore and is often cited as a reference group for this style of music.
